Just Cause 2 is a open world video game where players have freedom to roam around and play as they wish, the developers have done a great job creating a huge world with lots to do, but it has a limited number of missions and content which is a problem for modern games, this can be solved!

A games replay value grows when players are able to add their own content to the game, examples of this are The Elder Scrolls series, Crysis and Grand Theft Auto Series.

We at justcause2mods.com are beginning to feel restricted in terms of modding capability. If Avalanche Studios were to release modding tools to the public then I believe it would spark more Interest in Just Cause 2 and increase the games shelf life.

The modding community would like official tools to be able to import 3D models into the game, add new missions and characters, add new terrain and change the games core mechanics with scripts and plugins.

I hope this petition allows developers to see just how many people would like to properly mod Just Cause 2 and possibly Just Cause 3 in the future.

Jusupov has released a mod that FINALLY allows just cause 2 players to complete the game with 100%, the proper way.
 
"This mod adds the missing watertower at the correct location (X:18111,Y:15326). It also adds the 3 missing vehicle crates and the 3 missing weapon crates to the same area. These combined allow for 100% completion." - Jusupov

A few users have been experincing timeout issues and connection problems, i have been advised by my host that these have now been fixed and everyone should be able to connect from now on.

UPDATE This really should be fixed now as ive added new settings to the firewall, seems that people were still getting blocked.

Hey guys big site update, this has been a long time requested feature but i never had the 'know how' to code this before.  The comments system for mods has been totally revamped. it now uses the same comments system as the front page. Unfortunatly as a result all old comments have been removed but im sure you will agree this way is much better as now users can comment more than once! and theres less chance of spam getting through.

One of our members Pyrii has updated BOLOPatch to version 4.00 to work with the latest version of Just cause 2  v1.0.0.2

Same as BOLOPatch 3.00, 4.00 has the following patches:

·         Infinite Health (And infinite breath/O₂)

·         Infinite Ammo (including grenades)

·         Strong Rope (Can't be broken)

·         Multirope (disable to be able to remove ropes)

·         Invisible Crosshair

·         Change Money/Chaos and Armor/Weapon/Vehicle upgrade boxes
